Savings with Existing Systems

When designing solar and battery systems for customers with ane existing solar system, we recommend filling out the On-site Usage tab.

If the customer has existing solar, or existing self-consumption, the additional on-site usage that is happening behind the meter is now opaque to us and the grid.

Entering the on-site usage will help our simulations estimate the correct amount of usage that is being consumed by the property.

What is On-site Usage?

On-site usage is the entirety of kWh on consumed by the premises. This includes both grid consumption as well as behind-the-meter solar self-consumption.

What is typical on-site usage?

Typical households use approximately 20-25kWh per day. (2,300kWh per quarter)

Larger properties can consume up to 100+kWh per day. (9200kWh per quarter)
